Hail and snow

This afternoon's downpour was a bit more exciting than yesterday's rain, we all rushed to look out as everything turned white and the hail bounced noisily off the ground and window ledges, then it quietened down and turned into snow.  This snow didn't stay long and soon there was a bright blue gap in the sky, it didn't get any warmer though and now everything is covered in ice instead!  Really glad I went to badminton this evening, didn't play super well but definitely got better as we went along and got a few wins in, then had a tasty 5 person sharing dinner and drinks in town.  Good end to the day.
