Lazy
This was really lazy. I'd just parked at home after a very cold run around the street-lit town and I wanted to get indoors in the warm. The moonlit scene as I walked up the path was lovely and I had my camera in my pocket. I'd not used it since last night's blip so I thought I'd plonk the camera on a fence post and press the shutter; it should be set up already for a reasonable moon light exposure. As soon as the shutter closed I picked it up and walked indoors while it processed, then I took a quick look and was quite pleased with the result.
On closer inspection though I realised I'd left it on manual focus and not adjusted it. Not to worry I thought, I'll nip out after dinner to take it again. But I didn't, you can't really take a picture again can you? Besides, it was a night for being lazy and going with what I had.
