Crepe Myrtle Bark ( or lack thereof)

Not a good blip day..too much going on. Thankful for the old iphone when I took the dog for a short walk.  This reddish orange bark on the crepe myrtle tree down the road just happened to catch my eye with the sun shining on it.   Strange looking but still pretty.
