Another chilly, busy day at Lunch Club. Again we were one staff member down so were extre busy, especially as we had an 80th birthday this week. We always celebrate birthdays ending with a 0 with a ckae, just to make it a little more special for them. Now I am no cake decorater but as no-one else was brave enough to give it a go, I got the job. But they do say it was the thought that counts!! Today's lunch was bacon covered chicken and stuffing, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, followed by fruit flan and cream - with a piece of birthday cake with tea or coffee. It all went down well.
