In the sun......then the snow

Not in Canterbury NZ but Colchester UK.
Went for a day out with our friends Mr and Mrs L. Beautiful sunny morning but we left at 4 in a snow blizzard. So did every one else. Luckily the roads cleared and the snow stopped as we travelled back.
Had a fab day. Great 3 course lunch out.
Visited the natural history museum which is housed in an old church and then went in the castle museum. A fabulous hands on museum. The school children left as we arrived so the big kids dressed as Romans drove a chariot and built an arched wall. Luckily for my passengers I drove the car better than my chariot pulled by horses.
