Perseverance

Thankfully both schools were closed today so no road dramas. I'm a teeny bit fed up though as I was supposed to be going for afternoon tea and cocktails in Manchester with a friend. Never mind, we can go another time.

So I took the kids sledging instead - anyone would have thought I'd suggested climbing a mountain! Have you ever heard of kids who don't like sledging??!!

Of course within a few minutes they were enjoying themselves. Eldest is trying to make the world's biggest snowball in this photo.

Home now for an afternoon of board games and movies - not too bad a day after all!
