Sunshine on snow
I waited to see what the road was like this morning before deciding whether or not to go to Glasgow.
Well, it looked like an ice-rink, so I got on with some domestic chores, including making a batch of green (spinach, courgette and sprouts) soup. This time, however, instead of adding the zest and juice of an orange for extra flavour, I threw in a chopped cooking apple that I found lurking at the bottom of the fridge. It's been there since before Christmas. The result was very tasty!
I got out for an invigorating walk in the lovely sunshine in the afternoon, by which time most of the snow and ice on the road and pavement had melted and the light on the Campsies was lovely.
Happy weekend, blipmates!
