Blue Skies

It's been amazing day today weather-wise, well this morning really. After all that rain and gales yesterday we had this beautiful blue sky. It was really warm out of the wind, in fact so spring like, that Joseph spotted this Peacock Butterfly enjoying the sunshine.  It was a different matter once we were on home straight as we were walking right into the wind! Brr!

I spotted the Kestrel at the top of the bank overlooking the reservoir. I took lots of shots, and even though it's not brilliant I really like the sunlight illuminating it's tail feathers!
