CAFE NOWA . . .

This was the St Nicholas Cliff Lift in Scarborough, UK. Where there were five local lifts only 20 years ago – now there are just two working.
This one was built 1929 as the first electric funicular lift in UK - others were powered by water balance. Today it is a café, with both cars fixed at the top of the slope. A grand cup of coffee indeed, with a wonderful view across South Bay.

Whoopee . . . The Bad News - I have deleted my last contact with Blip in the form of an old iPhone App - The Good News - replaced it with the new PB one which, at last seems to be working. I am an invalid client no more.
Hope you all have a grand weekend ahead. Enjoy !
