Day 741 - Results

I had an appointment to get the results of my MRI this morning and it has been confirmed that I have a fairly large tear in the medial meniscus!  I am now booked in for keyhole surgery but there is a 12 week wait...  They did ask if I would be available at short notice and of course I said yes so there is the slimmest chance I could get seen before that!

The down side is that by cutting away the torn part of cartilage, some of the cushioning is removed and I could get wear and tear quicker and/or arthritis later on.  At this moment in time though, I can bearly walk without being in pain so I'll do anything!
