Worked today covering a year 5 class. Juniors aren't my bag really. The morning was a bit hectic, fuelled by the half a cm of snow we'd had overnight. I was looking forward to a quiet afternoon of art and set them to work 'colouring in'. The little darlings persuaded me to put a local radio station on in the classroom ( 'Mrs O ALWAYS does!') which was all fine and dandy until all 27 of them starting singing 'Uptown Funk' at the top of their voices and the year 6 teacher came in to say that it probably wasn't appropriate.
