Joined the DSLR world!

Have finally joined the DSLR world after a slight accident with my old trusty digital camera.

Bought the camera on Saturday and took it to the Awards Night and got a few good photos, but the sun has been shining today so I thought it would take it on a test run down to North Queensferry.

I've opted for the Canon 1110D, which I am told is a good starting camera with a 18-55mm and 70-300mm lense. The reason I went for the bigger lense was for the purpose of photographing football matches for the Berts.

I couldn't believe how far I could zoom in and get photos on it. I was sceptical how far I could focus on (not ever having a SLR), but I was amazed and I think I will get some great photos.

Unfortunately, I doubt I'll still be able to get an entry on a daily basis due to my working pattens, but I will try and get on when I can. It's certainly be great to get some photos of the baby when he is born (9 weeks to go!).
