Bear at the Window
I wandered around the old centre of Aylesbury this afternoon with the aim of using the polarising lens filter to reduce glare on glass and reveal what lies within; the intention is to create a bit of mystery by only showing a section of the window. There are the usual conversions of old properties to solicitors, estate agents and such like but also some original cottages remaining. A few large properties have been converted into flats and would be worth a bit judging by their excellent condition and prestigious position.
So,who is the owner of this bear? Why has he been left alone at home and does he get a chance to have a picnic with his friends in the park or woods?
It's very interesting 'poking' around the old town as it's not a busy area- with all the shops close by in the modern centre. I think there used to be far more of the old cottage style properties until someone had the bright idea of tearing them down and building a concrete shopping area. This was later replaced with a less offensive shopping centre.
Our town planners have a lot to answer for!
