National Treasure

Before I got the train home I went to see what was on at the National Portrait Gallery, and there was lots! I think I spent most time looking at the contemporary portraits and the Tudors, and I haven't been here for many years so was also interested to see the building, old and new. I'm not sure I remember seeing this tapestry on Grayson Perry's TV series, when he did a series of portraits exploring identity - Rylan off of X Factor was there, but the Queen?  

Back up north now, in the cold and snow - not a flake to be seen south of Stoke. Happy weekend all!
