Familiar skyline

A familiar Tuscan skyline.

After raining for about 24 hours non stop, the sun finally came out this afternoon for an hour or so, and was very welcome. 

An interesting, if long, day. I gave my own paper in the first session of the conference this morning, so I had plenty of time to concentrate on other people's work later on in the day. And to pop outside and take a few photos as the weather gradually improved.

Another couple of days in Florence coming up. I'll be seeing some friends and colleagues. It should be fun.

Still in a hotel, of course.
