Big Flakes in Paris
It snowed in Paris this morning, for 20 minutes or a bit more--no accumulation. I love snow, so this is my obvious choice for a blip. It blew over, with very little more precipitation and even some bits of blue sky. This is a bit of a repeat blip; here's an earlier version in sunshine.
In the afternoon we visited an excellent exhibition of photographs of Paris by Michael Kenna (an English photographer, born 1953), at the Musée Carnavalet--the museum of Paris.
This evening Grace and Jean visited us, with their new daughter Gail (born 4 January); the are an American and Canadian (respectively) who have been living in the apartment directly below us for the past three years. Great fun getting together.
