Snowdrop in the Sunshine

An excellent day - we all went into Birmingham on the train and ate the most amazing meal with Beth at her College; I took photos of all three courses, they were so beautifully presented.

Then M and I walked from there, up the canal to Gas Street Basin, and I took more photos - the sun was shining and the reflections of the buildings, the iron bridges, and canal boats were stunning.

Then, home to welcome old friends from Brazil days - non-stop talking - and afraid not much time for commenting or looking at your journals.

But - in the end - this shot won out - of the same snowdrop of two days ago - in our garden this morning in the snow.
