His Majesty's Theatre

I am not a great fan of Black and White, I see the world in colour, and I think the camera should see the world the same way. I have a nephew who far prefers B&W for his photography. As photography is is job I guess he knows what is best for him. 

Dark alleys do lend themselves to a B&W view, so I partially succumbed in this picture while spoiling the effect completely by keeping the sky in colour.

We have had another day of fine weather so it would be a pity to lose the sunshine and blue sky while the rest of the country is buried in snow.

Here I am at the side of the Theatre, I suppose the stage door, certainly there are a number of doors, but I don't know how much they are used. The lights along the alley are very bright in the picture, and this is because they are lit, but for what purpose I don't know, there was bright sunlight at the time.
