Brilliance, at the Musee des Beaux Arts, Lille

A very striking railing over the basement staircase. There were a million wondrous things in the museum, of course, but I thought this mightily handsome.
I love this sort of modern, faintly brutal design. I'd rather look at this than a million paintings of nymphs or saints...
