Doing time.......

.....more than happily today slow cooking a ^2kg pork leg joint (with crackling), just part of a VERY successful shopping trip to the Cullercoats Coop. 

And just as possible future historical record (is blipfoto still being archived by the British Museum?) this lot came in at £20.74 (reduced to £17.74 when I used a 'save £3 when you spend £20' voucher that I got as a till receipt last week)

0.675kg minced beef
4 large red onions
bag of rocket
a large red pepper
a cucumber
0.75kg new potatoes
5 large bananas
a pack of egg lasagne
5 large vine tomatoes
3 ready-to-cook garlic butter baguettes (total length 1m)
box of 12 pouches of the pussy cats' favourite cat food

......AND I netted another 'save £3 when you spend £20' voucher into the bargain.......result!!!
