In the dark

A view of the moon through the thorny branches of a tree in the garden at night; no doubt influenced by my feelings from watching the documentaries about the horrors of Auschwitz and the Holocaust, which seem at once incomprehensibly monstrous and at the same time all too close to many things happening in the world today - in some ways we haven't come very far in 70 years.
