Black-Necked Stilt

The light and the positioning of this Black-necked Stilt were perfect, sadly I had not set my camera up perfectly and I didn't have my monopod, so I didn't get the results I wanted-plus the car was well and truly stuck in the mud getting to this location & I was meant to be helping dig the car out! In the end we had to call 'International Rescue' who saved us by towing us out! The mud on the car was phenomenal & the drive -in-car wash did not do the job! Won't do that again to get to a bird! Very embarrassing!
