Polar bear country.

Not quite Svalbard, although the wind felt decidedly northerly.

I once met a chap on a  plane to Iceland, who was going on to hike across Greenland; they were taking some very big guns with them to protect themselves from bears. Probably not required on the hills above Huddersfield, although it is dangerously close to Lancashire.....

Had a dilemma about which shot to choose - this is bleaker, this is prettier and this is more typical of Huddersfield itself. 

Wedding anniversary weekend - off for cocktails and far too much rich food shortly. I'm already on the sherry!
