White on white!

Another good morning for being out and about. Still plenty of snow and ice around if you travel away from main roads. My sister and I both had a very undignified fall on the ice up at the James Hamilton Heritage Park. I could have blipped L as she lay spread eagled on the path but that wouldn't have been kind as she didn't have her camera handy when I was sprawled on the ground!
The two swans had made it on to the snow covered grass beside the main road ..... one was quite content to wander about while the other was determined to get back to the water .. not too easy .. the path was slippy and the water frozen at the edge. Watching the swan slip and slide down to the ice and then use its feet to try and push its large abdomen across the frozen area towards the open water would have made a great video clip.
