The knight and the princess

Has been the theme of the day. They got dressed up soon as they woke and princess lily was under strict instructions to stay trapped in her tower so he diddy the knight could rescue her on his horse (cow). She wasn't allowed a sword "cos princesses don't use swords. They use wands". Despite our protestations he was quite insistent! Once that game got boring they watched some videos about knights and while we were waiting for our food (lunch date with grandma) diddy wrote and illustrated a story all about his princess and the superheroes batman Spider-man and robin. It's great! Must take it to school and show his teacher as I'm not sure he's ever written that much before :)
