Last light of the day

Beautiful light on my way home from visiting mum and John today. John and I spoke a lot about how to reconfigure the downstairs now that mum can't really continue to be taken up and down the stairs by the carers - it's starting to get a little unsafe, in spite of the stairlift. It's going to be tight fitting in two beds, one of which is a massive hospital bed, but we're starting to see a possible solution that hopefully won't mean a complete reorganisation downstairs. It's just so difficult to know what the future holds for her and how long before she's effectively bed-bound, but we just have to take it one step at a time.
