Haymarket

After a day in the office a colleague and I headed west to East Renfrewshire. We had been invited to a recognition event for the volunteers there serving in the children's hearing system. The train journey started at Haymarket just as the sun was setting. Much more dramatic than what we could see as we returned at 00:30!

A very enjoyable evening with Provost Carmichael presenting the recognition awards to those present, reflecting the support by the Council for the children's hearings system generally and jointly with CHS towards the evening.

It was also an opportunity to catch up with some panel members I'd met over 10 years previously.
