Now where did that come from?

It was a bitterly cold day today, with a light dusting of snow early morning although this disappeared quite quickly. After lunch we walked up to Mum and Dad's. Whilst there Mum commented on these bookends which we had bought her many years ago and was wondering were they came from. I can remember quite clearly getting these, we were on holiday in Yorkshire and during a day in York found a little shop close to the city walls with all sorts of things and we chose them for Mum's birthday. They still look good on the corner cupboard.
