The Egret Has Landed

Having not seen so much as a feather of the little egret since last summer, it was quite a surprise when MaggieD suddenly shouted as we crossed the Clackmannan Bridge. We decided to check it out and parked up. By the time we got to where the bird had been, it was gone! However, on the way back to the car, I spotted it along the riverbank a bit. Walked round the road and we just managed to catch a few shots as it was half hidden by an old flood bank. Those egrets sure know how to keep out of sight!
