Sleep well

Olivia has her first ever sleep over at her friend W's house tonight. I've been quite anxious but she's been super excited. I trust her friend's Mum totally and know that she'll be well looked after. I wrote her a letter and placed it in her sleep over bag. I know, I know... I'm soppy!
Dex was quite upset about Olivia being away so we asked him what he'd like to do for a Friday night treat and he chose swimming. I tried to persuade him to do something warmer but he was adamant that he wanted the three of us to go swimming. We didn't actually do much swimming as I swear he went up and down the big slide over 30 times while I froze.

It was very quiet in our house this evening :(
