What a busy day that was.

After promising ourselves a quiet day....................it turned out to be very productive as well.

Started with a lie-in followed by the usual dog walk among the sheep waiting to lamb, brunch - which included for me at least, the last of the white pudding from Edinburgh, -  coffee with a neighbour, clear out of some rubbish from house and sheds, delivery of haggis to parents, delivery of rubbish to tip in Welshpool, call in to see Mr Tesco to get ingredients for a certain young man's dedication cake which is being made by Mrs DD - good smell coming from brandy-soaking fruit! hic, -  dog walk again - still no lambs but farmer keeping a close eye - sorting out some long-overdue paperwork/filing, and finally some time to eat, drink and start the new book I've been looking forward to for some time.

Not sure I'll last long enough to see Dr Hannah later this evening!
