Star Trek aficionados may understand why she was so Christened during her first few hours in the Shop.


We eventually became the proud owners of TWO, after the owner of one gave us it, upon her retirement: with the accolade:-
"It's brand new, it's only broken ONE glass."
Recent job - removing dead batteries, prior to handing on of residual watches. Beverly was brought out of hibernation and dusted off.


AND - speaking of "OUGHT" I don't suppose any Genii can explain, after "Brought", "Thought" and "Fought"
WTF "Taught" and "Fraught" don't end similarly?
OR why the plural of "Roof" isn't Rooves"?
