New old home

We arrived yesterday evening with snowfall in our new old home, with some emotional moments saying goodbye to Paris and all the memorable moments we spent there. Thanks to our friend (and future blipper !) we received a transport home from Zurich airport. A much better and more personal arrival than taking public transport with alle the luggage we had with us.

 
This morning we were greeted with beautiful weather and the landscape covered with some snow. Doing some shopping we passed this viewpoint, overlooking the “Untersee” region of the lake of Constance (it is the last bit of the lake, before continuing as river Rhine again). The area in the foreground is Switzerland, across the lake it is Germany. Lots of nature and clean air here, not too crowded and a real contrast to a large city. The future blip entries will reflect it …
