Wonderful beginning

Thirteen people, most of whom have meditated at some point in their lives, came to the first meeting of Soulforce. This picture was taken during walking meditation.

Thich Nhat Hanh advises, "walk as if you are kissing the earth with your feet."

Everyone agreed to envision how meditation can be a support for social justice activism. We will bring our ideas to the next meeting, on February 19. Bowing respectfully to each other, we smiled quietly after an hour of connection and departed.
