Reading the Sunday papers

Early morning run. Hoped for some sort of sunrise. The sky was very colourful about 5 - 10 minutes before official sunrise. Got out the little Nikon compact I was running with. Battery flat!! Close enough to home to go back and change cameras. By the time I got back out, however, the sun was up and behind the clouds.

So it was a run along Ponsonby Road, down Jacob's Ladder and back up College Hill and along Ponsonby Road again. Some of the cafes had opened by the time of my return, and this was the best opportunity. Inadvertent selfie as I was concentrating on ensuring that I got the newspaper reader with his large latte coffee.
