Racing in the rain

Today was the annual Herald cycle race - as usual many roads were closed and we were unable to move out of the village for the duration of the race. It wasn't the best weather and our habit of all sitting on the pavements, drinking coffee, chatting to the neighbours, cheering the cyclists didn't happen!  
I ventured onto the patio to take some photos - and my neighbour (pictured in this image) stood in the drizzle for a while taking pics.  
We are spoilt in SA with our wonderful sunshine - the slightest drizzle and we stay indoors!!  A good day to watch the Australian Men's final!
