Look Back

Yes, I took a selfie. Only because I love what the art piece, Look Back by Karim Chaya, says, at least to me: death is always nearby, and we should take care to be reminded of that often and live our lives as if death is never far away. This piece was part of the House of Today's most recent exhibition. The House of Today, an NGO and collaborative design platform headed up by Cherine Magrabi Tayeb, had their biennial exhibition, NAKED: Beyond the Social Mask, featuring the work of 30 Lebanese and international designers at the chic location of Le Yacht Club in Zeitouney Bay.
