Cutting Loose
Next to the braai, taking a chunk out of Friday's workday is the best Cape Town tradition I've observed so far. Lindsey, Heloise, Danielle, and I took all the Gap Year interns to the beach in Muizenberg for the morning, followed by a sopping fish n' chips lunch that made for quite the sleepy, sun-stripped, food-babied train ride back into the city. Considering that we're still working them hard under the fluorescent bulbs of the office even though many have already been accepted to tertiary and there are only six weeks left in their program, it's really nice to open the valves and spend time together outdoors.
