Especially for Arachne

There has been a gale of monumental proportions howling up the hill at us for the last few days and these narcissi are being cut to ribbons. I would never normally rip the head off a living thing, but these are suffering and I know only too well how much Arachne loves them, and also how much longer she will have to wait for those local to her to bloom.


I wasn't sure that my scanner would cope very well with flowering plants but after a lot of trial and error I am rather pleased with this unusual image.
