Walsden

A most pleasant walk along the Rochdale Canal near Walsden, with some characteristic canalside industrial buildings, a variety of locks, deep-sea diver number 11 and the compulsory view through a bridge.

St Peter's Church had a spooky grave yard and gargoyles. Nearby, there were good views across the valley.
