All Saints Springfield

Today I took part in the service with the good people of All Saints, Springfield. This was their All-Age, Candlemas Christingle Parade Service (phew!). Absolutely jam-packed full with people everywhere & anywhere they could be squeezed in. A lovely church with lovely people. This is a historic church, built by Ralph de Peverell, son of William the Conqueror, with a 11thC font, piscina from 1307 and superb alms box still chained to the wall. However, this church lives in the present & has a keen eye on the future. A welcoming, warm, inclusive church for the parish.
