Busy Busy

Woke up to a carpet of snow this morning, just enough to be pretty and not enough to be a nuisance!

I took Mum to the hospital for her annual diabetic eye exam (they are so busy they are working Saturday mornings), we then went to the garden centre for a mooch.  

After lunch Matthew and I ventured into Aylesbury so get some things sorted that have been long overdue, including Matthew buying  a new wallet.  We ran into my brother and family in one of the shops and had a chat with them.

We called in at St Mary's in Stoke Mandeville, where Matthew had serviced the bells in the morning, so he could install a part he had made to give the tenor a shallower set.  I wandered round the Church, it's not the prettiest of Churches really but they have some lovely kneelers.  This one was made by a Lady who I learnt to ring with at the Church, she moved away sometime ago and it was lovely to see it again and be reminded of her.
