Making bubbles in Old Town Square
Sun or shine, Prague's Old Town Square is a mecca for buskers. There are the standard 'living statues', a chap dressed as an angel with a sulphur-crested cockatoo (this rather upsets me - these birds are not meant to be captives), an old guy playing the sax or singing tenor arias and, of course, the bubble makers. So many things that seemed huge when I was younger now seem small. Bubbles buck this trend. No longer do children blow a few small bubbles from a plastic pipe. Instead, these bubble 'artists' wave some plastic rods around and make large, unusual bubble shapes. A lovely sunny day for a walk through the park to the centre today to pay my final visit to Prague's Nespresso Boutique ...
