The Odd Couple

Today has been a day of ups and downs. Midge has been ill over the weekend, she'd not eaten for three days and was skin and bone and looked very ill and this morning I took her to the vets expecting to come back without her. All her little pink bits had gone the nasty yellow that only a ailing liver can produce.

I did leave her, but she has been put on a drip to wash out all the toxins.

The vet could feel nothing on her kidneys or liver that was sinister. She has had a blood test done and the results should be back tomorrow when we should know a bit more.

The drip has made her well enough to have a couple of little meals.

Meanwhile in 'Cedar World' the sun has been shining, we've had the first day of solid poo's for two weeks and he's back on his walks. He's been enjoying the garden with his friend Mouse. She wanders round moaning and shouting at him, but me thinks the lady doth protest too much.

'Friends are like walls. Sometimes you lean on them, and sometimes it's good just knowing they are there'.
