Samba

While cool moons look down,
Hot dance in a cold climate,
Sizzling samba steps.

....Went to a samba workshop held by the lovely Serena Ramzy, who being Brazilian has the samba in her blood... (unlike an Essex girl like me who needs a transfusion!!).

... such brilliant fun and fantastic music which we played very loud!  tied my feet in knots trying to keep up... she took us through the more girly, ballroom style of the south to the more earthy, african and caribbean influenced styles of the north.... with the music moving from pure latino to a more reggae vibe..... absolutely loved it and now realise I need to buy some dance shoes .... with bellydance I am so used to dancing in bare feet or ballet pumps...

... anyway, what has all this got to do with Pilates balls you may well ask (if you are still awake)... well the answer is nothing really, it's just that they were being stored on the window ledge in the dance studio and I rather liked them .... especially all gathered together like a convention of moons ....
