White Bridge ( in a whiteout )

Spending the weekend in (snowy)  Braemar with some chums . A chance for eating / drinking and some walking .
Decided this morning to walk to the White Bridge from the Linn of Dee - a pleasant 2 .5 hr round trip - in the summer . The day started off nicely enough only for us to run into strong winds and vertical snow - we eventually arrived at the aptly named White Bridge very cold and in a whiteout. Managed to sort ourselves out with some soup and kitkats and trekked back  to the Linn of Dee  in slightly improving weather .  Its easy to see how even a simple walk in the Cairngorms can turn into disaster in bad weather .
