Houses of Wilmington #18 and 19
Vollers Houses
On 102 and 104 Fourth Street, these identical Queen Anne houses were built by a local contractor for his twin children. The hip roof and wide bracketed eaves demonstrate the influential Italian Revival style. The porch and differences between the two houses were modifications done since the construction. No information is readily available on the completion date of these houses.
I thought it was appropriate on this day to show two houses, because it does mark my 2 years of blips. Consecutive blips arrive (maybe) on July 28th, but this is #730, arriving one day earlier than my 1st year due to this being a leap year.
Music to celebrate two years, a Sonnymoon of Sorts.
