The Tudor House.

Harry's extended homework project for this half term was to build a Tudor house. 
All of the infants had to build one and they are to be lined up at school to replicate a street in 1666. They also have to take in a plain undecorated box, which will be lined up separately and then set fire to, demonstrating how the Great Fire of London was able to start ....and spread so easily. 
Harry is very excited about the burning part! He was keen to explain to me that it would be a real fire. He is also quite prepared to donate his Tudor house to be burnt, rather than just a boring old box; a reflection perhaps, that I worked harder on building the Tudor House than he did!
