Surprises And Silverware

Today I played with 2 of the other women from the Women Warriors and 3 others to make up a West of Scotland Select Team and competed in the first ever Scottish Universities Wheelchair Basketball Tournament. It was just brilliant. Lots of great fun and a really good culture of fair play. The big surprise is that we played our wee socks off. In the end Napier Uni won with ourselves runners up. In third place was Abertay.
Despite being the oldest student on the court is was awesome lol! A Scottish Universities Team will be selected and heading to compete in the British Tournament at Worcester University. Fingers crossed our young warriors players get considered as does the two other young chaps who made up our team.
Today's blip includes our runners up medals with active, competitive, participative imprinted. Great stuff!
