Shiny stuff

What is it about shiny things that makes them so appealing ? I saw this necklace in a charity shop and just had to have it, even though I already have a necklace or two ... or maybe more than two ...
Anyway it's nice and shiny, plus with all the different colours it'll go with anything. Bargain !
